Upper Peninsula Rainbow Pride was established in the summer of 2013. Based out of Marquette, Michigan, our group consists of people of all backgrounds with one common goal: to bring PRIDE local! We are also committed to providing a safe space, offering resources, and connecting all of the LGBTQIA groups in the Upper Peninsula. Our first Pride Fest was held on September 6th 2014 at Tourist Park in Marquette Michigan, and it was a SUCCESS!

Anyone can celebrate Pride, regardless of race, gender (identity and expression), sex, sexual orientation, education, religion, disability, or family status. Pride is about embracing who you are and being able to overcome the obstacles we face on a daily basis while maintaining dignity and self-respect. Pride is about showing unconditional love and support for all expressions of gender and sexuality.. Be proud of yourself!
